Wellness Program Manager

A PureWellness' Virtual Wellness Manager will lead, develop and coordinate a creative, scalable and impactful site-wide client wellness program. This may include but not limited to: biometric screenings, health risk assessment, wellness workshops, health education webinars and seminars, fitness and nutrition planners and logs, challenges, incentive campaigns, rewards programs and other special events based on program and client goals and objectives. The Virtual Wellness Manager will perform these duties using the client's PureWellness on-line portal and product.

Additionally, the PureWellness' Virtual Wellness Manager will be responsible for the development, planning, implementation, delivery and evaluation of client wellness program in accordance with PureWellness protocols, ensuring the highest possible level of engagement, outcomes and customer satisfaction in the delivery of programs and services to meet client and participant goals and objectives.

Additional Priority Duties Include:

  • Lead/Assist with Strategic Planning of program and conduct a Resource Inventory of the client site
  • Plan wellness program events, campaigns, workshops, webinars and challenges
  • Communicate effectively with client to help achieve their wellness program goals and assist them in developing a results oriented wellness program
  • Communicate with end users in helping them navigate through the portal and assist with questions
  • Use proven business strategies and help create new business strategies to improve health, manage and promote wellness program
  • Ability to deliver and assist with the delivery of reports based on Participation, Adherence, ROI, Annual Reporting, Surveys, etc.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and technical skills needed to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. The Virtual Wellness Manager will have at minimum three (3) client organizations to handle.

Education and/or Experience:

An individual at this level should have a bachelor's degree in a health, health promotion, wellness or related field and a minimum of two (2) years working in the health and wellness field, preferably in a corporate environment. Additionally, any candidate must to learn and understand the PureWellness platform, understand product and program timelines and understand organization goals and mission statement.

Reasoning Ability:

This position requires the ability to mediate between PW staff members with a good sense of judgment in order make effective decisions. The VWM should be able to solve problems using the logical steps necessary in order to accomplish them. Discretion and confidentiality should be used at all times in order to avoid conflicts. A commitment to outstanding customer service and a goal of ensuring client satisfaction is required.

Computer Software Applications:

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is required. The ability, willingness and comfort to learn new programs preferred. Specifically, any new employee will be required to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of the PureWellness platform and product. Ability to administer and navigate through the portal, facilitate challenges, workshops and other aspects of the portal site, as well as assist participants in navigating the site.
